Granville, NY (December 19, 2025) – Two people suffered serious injuries Tuesday afternoon when a stolen U-Haul truck crashed into an SUV outside the village of Granville. The collision occurred on December 16 along State Route 22, about a mile south of the village limits.
According to the New York State Police, the U-Haul was being pursued by law enforcement after crossing from Vermont into New York. Granville Police continued the pursuit at a safe speed but lost sight of the truck near the village. Officers later located the vehicle after it collided with a southbound SUV.
