Billings, MO (September 18, 2025) – Two individuals were injured Wednesday morning after a crash involving a Ford Taurus struck a concrete barrier in Christian County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:54 a.m. on September 17 on U.S. Highway 60 at Missouri Highway 14, within the city limits of Billings. Authorities say an unidentified vehicle entered the path of a 2015 Ford Taurus traveling eastbound, forcing it off the right side of the roadway.
The Taurus, driven by a 60-year-old man from Marionville, struck a concrete barrier after swerving to avoid the unknown vehicle. He sustained minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Cox South Hospital. A 62-year-old female passenger, also from Marionville, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by EMS to the same hospital.
The Taurus was left at the scene to be removed later. No other vehicles were located at the crash site.
