IRON, MO (June 23, 2025) – A motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Iron County resulted in serious injuries for a young man after his bike overturned on Missouri Route 32.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 3:05 p.m. on June 22, roughly two miles west of Banner. The rider, a 22-year-old man from Hillsboro, was traveling eastbound on a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja when he failed to navigate a curve. The motorcycle left the roadway and overturned.
The motorcyclist was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash but sustained moderate injuries. He was flown by air ambulance to Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis for further treatment. The motorcycle was later removed from the scene by family members.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to the incident.
