Las Vegas, NV (October 6, 2025) – A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a serious collision Saturday afternoon, October 5, at the intersection of West Ann Road and Old Grove Way, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. when a 2013 Harley Davidson Road King was traveling eastbound on Ann Road. At the same time, a 2020 Kia Sorento traveling northbound on Old Grove Way attempted a left turn and failed to yield the right of way.
The Kia entered the intersection and collided with the motorcycle’s path, striking it with the left front fender. The impact ejected the motorcyclist from the bike, leaving them critically injured on the roadway.
Emergency crews provided life-saving measures before transporting the rider to University Medical Center Trauma Center. Police confirmed the rider sustained life-threatening injuries.
The Kia driver remained at the scene and displayed signs of impairment. That individual was later arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is continuing the investigation.
