Santa Rosa County, FL (June 30, 2025) — Two riders were seriously hurt Saturday afternoon after a motorcycle crash in Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
According to reports, the single-vehicle accident occurred around 12:02 p.m. on June 28 in the area of State Road 87 and Technology Avenue. Authorities say the crash involved a Can-Am Spyder carrying a driver and a passenger.
FHP identified the driver as a 44-year-old man from Greenville, Alabama, who suffered serious injuries in the wreck. The passenger, a 38-year-old woman also from Greenville, was airlifted from the scene in critical condition for emergency treatment.
Troopers closed the roadway for a time as they worked to clear the scene and begin an investigation into what caused the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol has not released further details about possible contributing factors but confirmed the case remains under investigation.
