Las Vegas, NV (September 9, 2025) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a crash with a sedan Monday evening at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Merialdo Lane near Durango Drive.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred on September 8 when the motorcyclist reportedly ran a red light while traveling through the intersection. As a result, the rider struck the driver’s side of a sedan that was turning legally onto Charleston Boulevard.
Emergency crews responded quickly, and the motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The driver of the sedan was not reported injured.
Police temporarily closed the intersection to conduct an investigation but have since reopened the roadway.
