Clio, MI (July 16, 2025) — A 20-year-old man tragically lost his life Tuesday evening following a motorcycle crash at a busy intersection in Clio.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 7:09 p.m. on July 16 at the intersection of Vienna Street and Loomis. Genesee County Central Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a collision between a motorcycle and a burgundy SUV. Clio Police say the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Vienna Street when a 60-year-old woman attempted to turn eastbound onto Vienna from southbound Fuller. The motorcycle struck the rear driver-side door of the SUV and the rider was thrown from the vehicle.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but the motorcyclist was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was not injured. Witnesses contacted the motorcyclist’s family, who arrived shortly thereafter. His name has not been released at the request of his family.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and urge any additional witnesses to come forward.
