El Paso, TX (December 19, 2025) – A deadly motorcycle crash took place early Wednesday morning, claiming the life of a 29-year-old man in Northwest El Paso. Emergency responders were dispatched just before 6 a.m. on December 17 to the 1500 block of Northwestern Drive, where a vehicle and motorcycle had collided.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, investigators from the El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigations unit determined that a car traveling southbound on Northwestern was making a left turn into a parking lot. At that moment, a northbound motorcycle, ridden by Sergio Valenzuela, collided with the vehicle in a T-bone crash.

Valenzuela was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. This marks the 60th traffic-related death in El Paso for the year.
