Jefferson, MO (July 17, 2025) – A serious motorcycle crash late Wednesday night left two De Soto residents hospitalized after a single-vehicle accident on State Route MM.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 10:31 p.m. on July 16, just west of Randy Drive. A 2014 Harley Davidson traveling westbound veered off the right side of the roadway, causing both the driver and his passenger to be ejected from the motorcycle. The vehicle sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Northwest Towing.
The 43-year-old male driver, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South by Big River Ambulance District. His 45-year-old female passenger, who was wearing a safety device, sustained moderate injuries and was also transported to the same hospital for treatment.
Troopers Billiot and McCoy assisted at the scene during the response.
