Ste. Genevieve, MO (July 17, 2025) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a head-on crash with an SUV on Highway D late Wednesday morning.
According to reports, the collision occurred at approximately 11:21 a.m. on July 16, along southbound Highway D, just north of Hart-Pinkston Road. A 2019 Harley Davidson, operated by a 50-year-old man from French Village, was traveling northbound when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The impact caused extensive damage to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene by Buckley’s Towing. The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a safety device, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by Air Evac Air Ambulance #8 to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The 18-year-old female driver of the Jeep, a resident of Farmington, was wearing a safety device and was not listed as injured.
