Poulsbo, WA (August 24, 2025) – A man from Aberdeen was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Friday morning near Poulsbo in Kitsap County.

According to reports, the collision happened on August 22 along Highway 3 at Equestrian Drive, near Snider Park. A 56-year-old motorcyclist was traveling northbound when a Toyota RAV-4, driven by a 90-year-old man from Seabeck, pulled onto the shoulder of the highway.

As the RAV-4 began merging back into traffic, it struck the motorcycle rider as he attempted to pass. The impact ejected the motorcyclist from his vehicle. Authorities confirmed the rider was wearing a helmet at the time.
