Colorado Springs, CO (October 7, 2024) – On the evening of Saturday, October 5, at approximately 8:45 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of US 24 Frontage Rd and W Cimarron St.
Emergency responders from the Colorado Springs Fire Department and AMR arrived at the scene and provided medical aid to one of the drivers, who was then transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, the driver succumbed to their injuries while en route to the hospital.
Due to the severity of the crash, the Major Crash Team was called in to lead the investigation. Authorities are currently looking into whether speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the accident.
