Odessa, TX (September 19, 2025) – Five individuals sustained injuries Tuesday evening following a six-vehicle crash along Interstate Highway 20 in Odessa.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident took place at approximately 7:24 p.m. on September 16 in the 5000 block of westbound IH-20. The vehicles involved included two 18-wheelers, a white Dodge Ram 2500, a white Ford F-350, a green Ford Mustang, and a gray Infiniti SUV.
Officials stated that a tan 18-wheeler failed to control its speed and rear-ended the Dodge Ram, causing a chain reaction. The Dodge was pushed into the Ford F-350, while the same 18-wheeler also struck the green Mustang. That crash resulted in the Mustang colliding with a guardrail. The Infiniti SUV then crashed into a red 18-wheeler ahead.
Five people were transported to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Citations were issued at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
