Beaver Falls, PA (June 30, 2025) — A devastating multi-vehicle accident claimed at least two lives and left two others injured Sunday afternoon in Beaver Falls, Beaver County.
According to reports, the collision occurred just before 3:30 p.m. on June 29 along 7th Avenue. Witnesses say two vehicles — a black pickup truck and a red sedan — collided near a local business, striking a pedestrian in the process. The Beaver County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a 23-year-old woman died at the scene while a 25-year-old man who was airlifted to a Pittsburgh-area hospital later died from his injuries.
Authorities say the pedestrian, a 48-year-old woman, was pinned under the sedan and suffered severe injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital for urgent care. The pickup driver, identified as 45-year-old Israel Tun Cooch of Cranberry Township, was also hospitalized.
Police have since charged Tun Cooch with multiple offenses, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. The Pennsylvania State Police are assisting Beaver Falls police as the investigation continues.
