According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 8:24 p.m. on September 1 near FM 1187. Emergency crews from multiple agencies—including the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department, Benbrook Fire Department, Fort Worth EMS, CareFlite, and Parker County EMS—responded to the chaotic scene.
