Phillipston, MA (September 16, 2025) – A chaotic multi-vehicle crash involving a logging truck left eight people injured Monday morning on Route 2 in Phillipston.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, the crash occurred just before 10 a.m. on September 15, along the westbound side of Route 2. Several vehicles were involved, including a logging truck, two pickup trucks, a dump truck, and two vans.
A car and the logging truck caught fire during the collision. A bystander bravely rescued one person from a burning vehicle before emergency crews arrived. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
