Bristol, CT (January 2, 2026) – A serious crash involving multiple vehicles led to several injuries and an emergency extrication near the 510 block of Farmington Avenue on Tuesday morning.
According to the Connecticut State Police, the collision occurred on December 31 around 10:18 a.m. in the area of Route 6, near the Stop & Shop. Emergency personnel from Bristol Fire, EMS, and Police responded after reports of possible entrapment and at least one unresponsive individual.
Upon arrival, responders confirmed that the operator of one vehicle was trapped. Fire crews successfully extricated the individual. In total, at least five people were injured, including a medic who was also transported after sustaining injuries on scene. One patient was taken to New Britain Hospital under a modified trauma alert, while several others were brought to Bristol Hospital for treatment.
