Otter Tail County, MN (May 31, 2025) – A tragic crash in Bluffton Township has claimed the life of one man and led to the arrest of another following a suspected DWI incident early this week.
According to reports, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash near the intersection of 370th Street and 640th Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies found a truck overturned in a ditch and discovered the body of Blake Unger near the vehicle. Unger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities located the driver, identified as Izak Schermerhorn, and took him into custody.
