According to reports, the crash occurred around 1:10 a.m. near the intersection of Paradise Road and Flamingo Road. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police stated that a 66-year-old woman was crossing Flamingo Road in an unmarked crosswalk when she was struck by the right front end of a 2018 Stelvio traveling westbound.

The driver, identified as 33-year-old Isaac Velasco, fled the scene immediately after the collision. Emergency crews transported the woman to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities later located Velasco at his registered address, and he was arrested on hit-and-run charges. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate the collision.
