Miami, FL (June 11, 2025) – A fatal multi-vehicle crash Tuesday evening near Shenandoah Park left one pedestrian dead and sent two others to the hospital, according to local authorities.

According to reports, the incident took place just before 7 p.m. on June 10 at the intersection of 21st Avenue and 19th Street. Miami Police stated that a vehicle struck a pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The same vehicle then crashed into an unoccupied parked car, which was pushed into an occupied ice cream truck.

Miami Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported the female occupant of the ice cream truck and the male driver of the first vehicle to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s trauma center. Police noted that the driver allegedly attempted to leave the scene but was detained and taken to the hospital.
