According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. on September 20 in the 5900 block of the North Interstate Highway 35 service road southbound, near Koenig Lane. An adult pedestrian was hit by a vehicle under circumstances that are still being reviewed by local authorities.
Paramedics transported the victim to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical injuries. At this time, the identity of the pedestrian and the driver involved has not been released.
