Pulaski County, MO – 2 Injured in Hyundai Crash on I-44 EB

Pulaski County, MO (May 13, 2025) – Two people were hospitalized after a serious single-vehicle crash along Interstate 44 Eastbound in Pulaski County on the evening of May 12.

According to reports, the crash occurred around 7:25 p.m. near the 158.6 mile marker. Authorities say a 2016 Hyundai Genesis was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control on a wet roadway. The vehicle overcorrected, veered off the right side, went airborne, and struck several trees.

The driver, a 29-year-old man from St. Robert, sustained minor injuries. A 26-year-old female passenger from Waynesville suffered serious injuries in the crash. Both were transported by the Pulaski County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for further treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed by Big Boys Towing. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by additional troopers.
