Ambrose, GA (December 11, 2025) – A woman from Ambrose is facing new charges following a second hit-and-run incident in just over a month, this time involving suspected impaired driving.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the latest crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5, along Georgia Highway 206 near the 206 Connector. Erin Micalah Slusher, 26, was reportedly driving a white 2004 Dodge pickup southbound when she attempted a left turn and failed to yield to a white 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe that was also traveling south. The Tahoe swerved to avoid impact, but the two vehicles collided. Slusher fled the scene immediately after the crash.
Law enforcement later located and arrested Slusher. She was charged with DUI, hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield, expired license, and a taillight violation. She was booked into the Coffee County Jail and later released on bond.
