Middletown, DE (December 15, 2025) – Two people were hospitalized following a structure fire that broke out Friday afternoon in a residential community in Middletown, Delaware.
According to the Delaware State Police, emergency crews were dispatched around 1:15 p.m. on December 13 to the 700 block of Cleaver Farms Road, located in the Villagebrook Trailer Park. Upon arrival, responders confirmed there was an active structure fire with multiple individuals requiring medical attention.
A 77-year-old man was transported to Christiana Hospital with burns to his extremities and possible smoke inhalation and was listed in critical condition. A second patient, a 75-year-old woman, was also taken to the hospital in serious condition with suspected internal injuries and smoke inhalation. A third individual at the scene was assessed but declined further treatment.
