Riverwoods, IL (December 23, 2025) – A serious rollover crash involving three vehicles left a woman and a child hospitalized Monday afternoon after a red-light violation at a busy Riverwoods intersection.
According to the Illinois State Police, emergency crews responded to the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Saunders Road around 4:30 p.m. on December 23. Authorities say the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, a 34-year-old woman from Salem, Wisconsin, was heading north on Saunders Road when she entered the intersection against a red light.
