Malad City, ID (September 12, 2025) — A tragic rollover crash claimed the lives of two Utah residents and left a juvenile critically injured on Wednesday night. The wreck occurred around 9:15 p.m. on September 10 along 100 West in Malad City.
According to the Idaho State Police, the driver of a Ford Focus traveling southbound left the roadway, struck the right shoulder, and overcorrected, causing the car to roll. The vehicle collided with two unoccupied cars parked on the opposite side of the street.
A 47-year-old man from Fielding, Utah, and a 45-year-old woman from Tremonton, Utah, were both transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries. A juvenile passenger, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown by air ambulance to a hospital in critical condition. The roadway was closed for about three hours while authorities investigated.
