Dallas, TX (July 21, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a DART bus left five people injured Monday afternoon in Far Northeast Dallas.

According to reports, the crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on July 21 at the intersection of Plano Road and Miller Road. Dallas Fire-Rescue stated that the driver of a semi-truck lost consciousness behind the wheel and plowed into four other vehicles.

The semi collided with another 18-wheeler, a DART public transit bus, a box truck, and a sedan. Emergency crews responded quickly and transported five injured individuals to area hospitals. One of the victims was reported to be in serious condition as of Monday afternoon.

Officials have not yet released the identities of those involved, and the circumstances surrounding why the driver lost consciousness are still under investigation.
