Hendricks County, IN (June 26, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a fatal rollover crash involving a semi tanker truck that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 74 near Lizton.
According to reports, the crash took place just after noon on June 25 near the 58-mile-marker. The semi was heading eastbound on Interstate 74 when it veered off the right side of the highway and rolled over.
Hendricks County sheriff’s deputies arrived to find the male driver unresponsive. Medics transported him to Hendricks Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and the driver was the only occupant of the truck.
Investigators are working to determine whether the driver suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash or succumbed to injuries sustained during the rollover. The Hendricks County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the driver after notifying family.
