Phoenix, AZ (November 1, 2025) – A deadly early-morning crash on Interstate 10 near the Mini Stack interchange in Phoenix left one person dead and two others injured, according to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred around 12:45 a.m. on October 30 in the westbound lanes of I-10 near 16th Street. A Toyota Corolla, merging onto the freeway from the SR 51/SR 202 ramp, veered off to the dirt shoulder, then overcorrected and traveled across all lanes before striking the median wall. The car came to rest on the emergency shoulder.
One passenger was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were transported to a hospital for further medical care. Their current conditions remain unknown. Authorities have not released the names of those involved.
