Allen County, IN (December 8, 2025) – A fatal accident claimed the life of a young woman early Monday morning in a solo-vehicle crash in Allen County.
According to the Indiana State Police, deputies with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to a crash shortly after 6 a.m. on December 8 near the intersection of Irving Road and Thimlar Road. When officers arrived, they discovered a single vehicle off the north side of Irving Road. Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle had been traveling eastbound when it veered off the roadway for unknown reasons. The car struck a driveway embankment, became airborne, and collided with a tree.
