Harris County, TX (September 21, 2025) – A man lost his life early Sunday morning following a violent crash in the Barrett community of east Harris County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on September 21 on Crosby Lynchburg Road near the Barrett Settlement neighborhood. A Dodge Charger was traveling along the roadway when it left the path of travel and collided with an electric pole.
The impact was so severe that the vehicle reportedly split apart upon collision. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. His identity has not yet been released.
