Beaufort County, SC (December 6, 2025) – A serious vehicle crash late Wednesday evening left one person critically injured after a car ran off the road along Trask Parkway near Garrett Smalls Road.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, emergency responders from the Burton Fire District, Beaufort County EMS, and the Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. on December 3, 2025. Crews found a single-vehicle crash with one occupant trapped inside. Firefighters worked swiftly to free the person from the wreckage.
The victim was transported to Beaufort Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. Northbound lanes of Trask Parkway were temporarily blocked while crews handled the emergency response and initiated an investigation.
