St. Louis, MO (January 7, 2025) – A single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 270 at Highway 370 resulted in serious injuries to two occupants Tuesday afternoon, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. when a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by a 56-year-old woman from St. Peters, MO, lost control while traveling southbound on icy roads. Authorities report that the vehicle was moving too fast for the hazardous conditions.
The Outlander began to spin, veered off the right side of the road, struck a concrete barrier, and rolled over. The vehicle fell approximately 40 feet, landing on its roof on gravel south of the northbound I-270 ramp to westbound Missouri 370.
Both the driver and a 54-year-old male passenger sustained serious injuries. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt. Emergency responders from Pattonville and Robertson Fire Protection Districts transported them to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
