Chipley, FL (December 12, 2025) — Two people sustained life-threatening injuries in a violent crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle Wednesday evening in Washington County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. on December 10 at the intersection of Clayton Road and State Road 277. Investigators stated that the SUV was traveling westbound on Clayton Road and attempted to turn left onto SR 277 when it entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle heading north.
The SUV’s front end collided with the front of the motorcycle, causing it to overturn. Both the motorcycle’s driver and passenger were ejected during the crash and suffered life-threatening injuries.
