TANEY COUNTY, MO (January 11, 2025) – A single-vehicle crash on Highway 76, one mile west of Walnut Shade, resulted in injuries to two individuals on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 12:45 PM when a 1998 GMC Jimmy traveling eastbound ran off the right side of the road, struck a cliff, and overturned.

The vehicle’s driver, a 41-year-old woman from Walnut Shade, and a 39-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident. Emergency medical services transported them to Cox Branson for treatment.

The GMC Jimmy sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Crawford’s Towing.
