Taney, MO (January 19, 2025) – A head-on collision on US 160, two miles west of Forsyth, resulted in multiple injuries on the afternoon of January 18. The crash occurred at approximately 2:32 PM and involved a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2018 Dodge Journey.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 29-year-old man from Forsyth, MO, crossed the center line and struck the eastbound Dodge Journey. Both vehicles were totaled and were towed from the scene by Jim’s Auto Body.
The Silverado driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Springfield Hospital. The Dodge Journey’s driver, a 35-year-old woman, and her two juvenile passengers, a 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, also sustained minor injuries. They were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by EMS.
