According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred September 2 at around 9:03 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. 19 and Northwest 160th Street. Officials reported that the teenager was traveling north in a sedan when her vehicle struck a semi-truck that was improperly parked in the right northbound lane.
