Amarillo, TX (December 6, 2025) – A juvenile was hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Northeast 24th Street and Fritch Highway in Amarillo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred around 4:14 p.m. on December 5. Authorities said a teen driving southbound on Fritch Highway struck a vehicle ahead of them, which then caused a chain reaction crash involving a third vehicle.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the juvenile outside of their vehicle. The teen was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that have not yet been disclosed.
No additional injuries were reported among the other drivers or passengers involved. The crash remains under active investigation by officials.
