Warrensburg, MO (January 10, 2026) – A morning crash involving three vehicles led to multiple injuries and lane disruptions on Thursday in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 7:05 a.m. on January 8 on the northbound side of Business Route 13, just north of Northeast 150 Road. A 2019 RAM 3500, driven by a 26-year-old male from Warrensburg, struck the rear of a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The impact caused the Jeep to veer into the path of a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse traveling southbound. The Traverse left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch. All vehicles were towed from the scene due to moderate to total damage.
A 46-year-old male driver of the Jeep and a 2-year-old juvenile passenger from Holden, Missouri, sustained minor injuries. The child was transported privately to St. Luke’s Medical Center, while the adult driver was taken by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center. The 45-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet Traverse also suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle for care.
