According to reports, Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the crash just after 4:15 a.m. near Cardinals Way on the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway. All northbound lanes were closed at the scene, and traffic was diverted off the freeway while authorities responded.
