Carthage, MO (August 20, 2025) – A serious truck accident in Jasper County Tuesday afternoon left four people injured after the vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.
According to reports, the crash occurred at around 2:02 p.m. on August 19, 2025, along Route HH at County Road 170 near Carthage. The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated that a 2024 Isuzu NPR-ND traveled off the roadway, overcorrected, and then crossed back over before becoming airborne. The truck struck a fence and overturned.
The 54-year-old driver from Granite City, Illinois, and three male passengers, ages 22, 24, and 29, all sustained moderate injuries. All four victims were transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment. The truck was totaled and later towed from the scene.
