Floyd, NY (September 16, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident in the Town of Floyd left one man injured after a driver failed to stop at a stop sign on Saturday night.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the crash at approximately 8:55 p.m. on September 14. The collision occurred at the intersection of Koenig Road and New Floyd Road.
Shauna Broadbent, 34, was reportedly traveling on Koenig Road when she failed to stop at the posted stop sign and struck an SUV driven by 29-year-old William Spinelli of Syracuse, who was headed along New Floyd Road.
Spinelli sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Authorities have not provided an update on Broadbent’s condition.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
