Plano, TX (September 11, 2025) – A tragic crash early Wednesday morning left one man dead following a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in Plano.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 2:00 a.m. on September 10 at the intersection of West Plano Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway access road. Investigators say a Toyota Camry was heading north on the tollway’s access road when it failed to stop for a red light and struck a Dodge Dart that was traveling west on West Plano Parkway.
After the initial impact, the Camry veered off the road and struck a traffic signal pole.
The 27-year-old man in the Camry was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity. The driver of the Dodge Dart, a 38-year-old woman, was not injured.
