According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:31 p.m. on August 31 near Exit 92 on the northbound side of I-405. Dispatch audio described it as an injury-involved, two-car crash. One of the vehicles was identified as a silver Volkswagen, which came to a stop on the left side of the roadway.
