Sedgwick County, KS (August 23, 2025) — An early morning two-vehicle accident left multiple people injured Thursday after a van reportedly pulled into the path of an oncoming car in Sedgwick County.
According to reports, the crash occurred at around 7:58 a.m. on August 21 on eastbound K254 at milepost 6.3 near Webb Road. A 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan was stopped at a stop sign on northbound Webb Road and attempted to cross traffic to head westbound, pulling into the path of a 2007 Toyota Corolla traveling east in the left lane of K254.
Both drivers, identified as 27-year-old Connor S. VanCuren of Peabody and 21-year-old Raison R. Rondon Lopez of Wichita, were transported to Wesley Medical Center with suspected minor injuries. Two additional passengers in the Toyota were not reported to be injured. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Miller’s Tow and Recovery.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash circumstances.
