According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident took place shortly before 9 p.m. on December 31, 2025, at the intersection of Highway 158 East and Perimeter Road in Douglas. Emergency crews including local officers, state troopers, firefighters, and EMS were dispatched to the scene.
