Jersey County, IL (December 12, 2025) — A teenage driver and a man were both hospitalized following a crash Wednesday morning in Jersey County.
According to the Illinois State Police, the two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 7:37 a.m. on December 10 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 67 and Delhi Road. The crash involved a sport utility vehicle driven by a 16-year-old girl traveling eastbound on Delhi Road and a car driven by a 53-year-old man heading south on U.S. Highway 67.
Upon impact, both drivers suffered injuries. The teenage driver was airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis for further treatment, while the male driver was transported by ambulance to Jersey Community Hospital. According to local authorities, neither of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
