Shannon County, MO (June 13, 2025) – A head-on collision between two vehicles on Missouri Route 19 north of Eminence left one man seriously injured Friday morning.

According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. on June 13, about 18 miles north of Eminence. A 2014 Chrysler 200 Touring, driven by a 21-year-old man from Dixon, Missouri, was traveling southbound when it crossed the center of the roadway and collided with a northbound 2009 Chevrolet Silverado.

The Chrysler sustained total damage, and the Silverado sustained extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Baker’s Towing. Emergency personnel transported the Chrysler driver to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. The Silverado’s 67-year-old driver from Elsberry, Missouri, was not listed as injured in the report.

The Eminence Fire Department, Mercy EMS, and the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
