Tucson, AZ (July 31, 2025) — A devastating crash in Pima County claimed the life of a woman Wednesday afternoon following a violent two-vehicle collision at a major intersection.

According to reports, 88-year-old Marilyn Young was killed after her vehicle was T-boned near the intersection of North La Cholla Boulevard and West River Road on July 30. Authorities with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Young died at the scene as a result of the impact.
