North East Township, PA (September 17, 2025) — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Erie County’s North East Township that left at least one person injured.
According to local fire and EMS reports, the crash occurred just after 6:00 a.m. on September 17 in the 2200 block of North Brickyard Road. North East Fire Department units were dispatched to the scene, where Chief 200 arrived first and established command.
Engine 204 worked to secure the vehicles and checked for any fluid leaks, while East Erie County EMS evaluated the individuals involved. One person was transported to an area hospital for further treatment. The severity of the injuries has not yet been released.
Utility 219 assisted with closing the intersection at Brickyard Road and Route 20 during the emergency response. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
